Iron Therapy Training

FAQ

Common questions, straight answers.

Everything we get asked most often about training, coaching, and the M.A.C. Method.

Why hire a personal trainer?

Because guessing is expensive. The right exercises, right form, right progression, and real accountability gets results in months instead of years. We custom-program every workout to your goals, body, and history, and we hold you to it.

What if I can’t do the exercises?

That is exactly why we start with assessments. We meet you at your current ability and program around any limitations or imbalances. Newly off the couch, recovering from injury, or returning after years away, we adapt the work to you.

How quickly will I see results?

Most clients feel different in 2 to 4 weeks (energy, sleep, confidence) and see visible body changes in 8 to 12 weeks. The M.A.C. Method is built around sustainable change, not crash-cycle results.

Where is Iron Therapy Training located?

Our private studio is at 2319 Washington St., Great Bend, Kansas 67530. We serve in-person clients from Great Bend, Ellinwood, Hoisington, Pawnee Rock, and Larned, plus online clients anywhere in the United States.

What is the M.A.C. Method?

M.A.C. stands for Mindset, Accountability, and a Complete Structured Training Program. It is the framework Iron Therapy Training uses to deliver real, lasting body transformations.

How is Iron Therapy Training different from a regular gym?

A regular gym sells you a membership and hopes you show up. We sell coaching. Every workout is custom-programmed, every session is one-on-one, and every client has a coach holding them accountable. We do not offer group classes, the risk of injury is higher and results are harder to achieve without individual attention. All of our in-person sessions are one-on-one or semi-private, giving you a focused environment with a coach dedicated to maximizing your results and minimizing your risk of injury.

Do you take older clients?

Most of our clients are working professionals in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. Several started with us in their 70s. The M.A.C. Method is age-agnostic. We assess where you are, then build a program that progresses you safely from there.

Do you work with clients younger than 45?

We do have a few younger clients in the program who are here for the same reasons and ready to make a real change, and they do great. If this sounds like you, schedule a strategy call and we will have a conversation to see if Iron Therapy is the right fit. If we have a good fit we can talk about possible next steps. If we cannot help you we will tell you that too.

I have an old injury. Can I still train with you?

Yes, with rare exceptions that require a physician-cleared protocol. We start with a full mobility and symmetry assessment so we can program around the injury and, in many cases, help correct the underlying movement issue causing it.

Can I just use the gym, or do I have to do personal training?

Both options exist. Personal Training is one-on-one coaching for clients who want a complete plan. Private Gym Access is a keycard-access membership for independent training in our studio. Many members start with one and add the other later. What we have found is that most people who train here start to realize they are leaving results on the table without a structured program and a coach behind them. When that happens, we have a conversation about what the next step looks like and whether there is a fit.

How does online coaching work?

You meet with your coach once a week by virtual call. We custom-program your workouts and nutrition, you execute where you are, and we adjust as you progress. Same coaching, no drive required. Online coaching is available anywhere in the United States as long as you have a gym, a smartphone, and an internet connection. It is a strong fit for the person who is self-motivated and independent but wants a custom plan, real accountability, and consistency built in, not random effort on their own.

Do you offer nutrition coaching?

Yes, and it is not an add-on. Nutrition is a core part of every Iron Therapy program because training without a nutrition plan is only half the work. Aaron is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach. Every client gets a clear, confident nutrition plan built around their goals: better health, better body composition, and results that actually last. No guessing. No fad diets. Just a plan that works with your program and your life.

Can my spouse or partner train with me?

Yes. We have multiple spouses in the program currently, most training one-on-one on their own schedules. Every new client starts with a Body Audit. That assessment tells us exactly what you need, and with our population and current lifestyles, aches, pains, imbalances, and balance issues are common enough that most people require one-on-one attention for safety and results. Semi-private is available, which is why assessments are so important. Either way, we have an option for both of you.

What is the Body Audit?

The Body Audit is a seven-step paid assessment for adults tired of guessing why their body hurts or why progress stalls. It includes an InBody full-composition scan, a visceral fat reading, a muscle symmetry and imbalance scan, a full mobility assessment, a cardiovascular assessment, two private corrective exercise sessions, and a private MAC Method strategy session at the end. The price is $297 and we open five spots at a time. Every new client at Iron Therapy starts with a Body Audit.

How much does personal training cost?

Investment levels vary based on program, frequency, and duration. Every new client starts with a Body Audit for $297, a full assessment that tells us exactly where you are and what you need. From there we sit down, go over what we found, and walk you through exactly what we recommend. Our clients are making a complete premium investment in their health, not a gym membership. If you are serious about changing your life, schedule a strategy call and we can see if this is for you.

Is there a contract?

We have program commitments, and there is a reason for that. Real transformation does not happen in a few weeks. The MAC Method is built around rebuilding your identity, your habits, and your body from the ground up, and that takes time. Your program length is determined after your Body Audit based on where you are starting and what you are working toward. Everyone who has stayed committed to the process has seen their life change. The program works when you do.

How do I get started?

Start with a Strategy Call. Fifteen minutes. We talk through your goals and current situation, and we tell you whether Iron Therapy is the right fit. If it is, we point you toward the right program. If it is not, we point you somewhere better.
